NYS Assembly Member John McDonald: His Vision, Hopes, and Concerns for 2020

We have a special guest for this Life Happens Radio podcast: New York State Assemblymember John McDonald III.

He joined attorney Lou Pierro for a live call-in program on December 28th that focused on timely issues that could affect you and your family in the New Year.

It’s a rare opportunity to hear about the measures lawmakers are considering in addressing the expected $6-billion dollar budget deficit.

Mr. McDonald, who is in his 4th term representing the 108th District that includes parts of Albany, Rensselaer and Saratoga Counties, shares his insights on the upcoming budget process as it impacts all of our lives. He also focuses on workforce expansion efforts as many of the State’s workforce are retiring.

“It is imperative that we provide support for those who work in human services, from all ages and backgrounds” said Assemblymember McDonald. “The wages out there are dismal and we need to find ways to support that effort as we support individuals living in the community versus institutions.”
