Are You Planning to Grow Old? If You Are, What Is Your Plan?

Growing old is not easy, and the costs of care, let alone finding care, can be challenging and sometimes daunting.

On Saturday’s Life Happens show, elder law attorneys Lou Pierro and Peter Strauss are joined by Aging Life Care Coordinator Nora Baratto to make the process less formidable. They’ll lay out three categories that put you in that lane for needing care:

• Diagnosis of an illness: Most often Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, MS or ALS
• Accident or injury: You fell down the stairs. You had a car accident. You now need care.
• The Aging Process: You’re 86. You’re 89. Or 99! You may be lucky enough to grow old without a health crisis.
