Verley A. Brown counsels fiduciaries, beneficiaries and distributees in a variety of contested and uncontested proceedings, including probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accounting proceedings, will and trust construction proceedings, proceedings against fiduciaries, discovery and turnover proceedings, and other trust and estate related matters.
Serving as Of Counsel at Pierro, Connor & Strauss, Verley’s expertise lies in managing sensitive legal matters in trusts and estates, with a steadfast commitment to legal ethics and attention to detail. He works with the legal team to navigate complex issues with professionalism and integrity, striving to protect our clients’ interests and ensure meticulous legal compliance.
This approach combines his in-depth legal knowledge with a personalized touch, focusing on negotiation and research to tackle high-stakes cases. With over a decade and a half in the field, Verley is dedicated to learning and leveraging the latest industry trends to provide exemplary service and foster an environment of excellence within our practice.
Previous Experience
Verley Brown has extensive experience in the practice of trusts and estates and Surrogate’s Court practice gained from his fifteen years as a practicing attorney and his work as a Senior Surrogate’s Court Clerk in the Accounting and Miscellaneous Department of the Bronx County Surrogate’s Court prior to practicing law.
He is a former United States Marine and lives in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC.
